Its the little things that matter

Do you ever have those days where you just don't feel like doing anything? Maybe because the weathers awful or you've had a busy week at work? Me too!
I'm having one of those days/weeks. Ive been so busy at work recently and I now have a lovely well deserved week off work! however i don't feel like doing anything just relaxing for the most part until this week flies by and I'm back in the normal early morning, long day routine, it really does knock it out of you!
So i have decided to write this little blog about the things that help me relax and how i like to spend those 'lazy days'.
The first thing i love to do after a long day is a nice bubble bath with my favourite products from lush cosmetics.I love 'Lush' cosmetics so very much, there are unlimited amount of products and something for everyone!
^Above^ is a lovely smelling bath bomb that melts into your bath water, turning the water to a smokey baby pink tone, Amazing. Along with the bath bomb i like to use a good lip scrub which leaves my lips feel very soft and its also bubblegum flavour ;)
The Mask of Magnaminty, which is indeed what it says on the tub. This is a very minty green face mask that leaves your face feeling very soft, skins left feeling tight and very awake. This is the holy grail product for me, especially when those evil breakouts come from nowhere. It says to leave on for 10-15 minutes then wash off however i leave mine on for a lot longer, one reason being when i use this minty face mask before my bath then wash off after, so at least 20-30 minutes which doesn't do any harm to your face in fact i think its better left on for a longer period of time.
The product i love to use after my bath with a fresh face is the 'Breath of Fresh air' toner water, this is the most refreshing of all the toner waters according to lush, which i can't deny! it has seaweed extract and rose absolute to tone and balance the skin. If you suffer with redness of the skin then id suggest giving this product a try.
Each of the products I've spoken about are very affordable! i'd definitely recommend each one!
The Mask of Magnaminty - £9.75 /315 - £5.50 / 125g
Bubblegum lip scrub - £5.50
Breath of fresh air toner water - £7.95 / 250g - £4.25 / 100g
Another way i love to relax is to light a lovely candle like this one shown ^above^ from the very popular Yankee Candle named 'Lake House' AND Oh my goodness, it is the best smelling candle i have ever smelt however it all depends on the person and what your nose likes ;). It smells like sun rays on a dark-blue lake. Grass and water, tones of citrus and cotton. If you love fresh scents with citrus and cotton you must have this. Yankee candles are expensive however i feel they are totally worth the price, they last for a long time, you get a lot of product and they all smell totally different! i say this because some candles these days from different stores, smell so similar. For the large jar its £20 i get mine from clintons, i'll leave a link below for anyone who is interested. The medium jars vary in price anything from £15.00. The smaller jars are around £7.99. Yankee Candle also do tea lights which come in a small box with about 5-6 candles of any fragrance of your choice which are £7.00 on the Yankee Candle website which i will leave below.
The next thing i love to use when I'm in a girly pamper mood, is soap and glory products to moisturise, my favourite to use is the body butter after a long bath, it leaves your skin feel super soft and smelling luscious. The Hand food product is next on my tell all list it contains shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow . It is scented with their original pink fragrance. The most astonishing hand cream ever? i think so! give it a try.
The next product I'm going to tell you
about is all about the feet, which is a horrible subject for most, 'Heel Genius' will leave your feet feeling soft and smelling fresh, not like anybody will be smelling your feet however after a long day its probably needed. Soap and Glory have a range i could speak about all day, its very affordable and nice to have, 'Hand Food' is a moisturiser i use mostly every day, with the job i have its important leaves your hands feeling silky smooth! I have left a link below the image ^above^ for you to have a look at.
Soap and Glory - Hand Food £5.00
Righteous Butter - £10.00
Heel Genius - £7.00
After I've bathed, taken my make up off, moisturised, lite a few candles and put on some snuggly pjs, i log on to my iPad and put on some netflix and watch everybody favourite show 'Pretty little Liars.
As well as doing all the stuff I've spoken about above i also liked to watch the soaps, eat junk food, play about with make up and listen to music. What do you like to do to relax?
