How Much Is Too Much Make up?|

Is it just me or do you also feel physically overwhelmed by beauty products? Never ending collections of make up brands and there launches! Sometimes its hard to keep up, I'm a huge lover of all things fashion beauty and YouTube is where i find out about most of the new fads! We all seem to be on this conveyor belt of excess where purchasing always sits at the end. I have pretty average size for a make up collections however what is 'average' these days? Ive watched videos for years and seen hundreds of 'make up collection/make up storage videos and come to think of it i don't know if id want all that responsibility of all that organising to be honest! I mean don't get me wrong I'm always in a 'drug store' searching for the new make up but theres always something in the back of my head saying 'will i use this product'? did i just waste more money? but never the less it doesn't change my actions because I LOVE MAKE UP.
I love it, that’s enough justification right? Or maybe this consumerism world is just getting a tad too much. Although I rationalize each new purchase I make, ‘it’s for the new blog I'm starting’ or ‘I promise I don’t own anything like it already’ or 'everyones using it'. I know it’s not normal to stare at four different powders each morning wondering which one to grab to set my makeup for that day ahead. Shall I use that bronze shadow pencil for my lids or that same shade but in a liquid, gel or cream format? Even my average amount is a little crazy.
I’ve already found myself reaching for less makeup on a daily basis, opting for more natural looks however that hasn’t translated to my need for a huge collection. Why are you keeping that sparkly coloured eye shadow you brought when you were 16? As a community will we ever stray from this natural need to buy the latest product no matter how many of the practically the same product we have at home that we have stashed away! How can you stop being tempted by the latest release when it’s all just so tempting on pay day!
